[platform-ui-dev] Problems view - Should the default be "Show all errors in workspace" or "Show all Errors/warnings based on project selection"

Friends of Platform UI,
In my experience the Problems View is an area of confusion for the
Eclipse user. I have seen several times that a user looks at the
problems view messages complete unrelated to the project.
Andrey opened Bug 498056 suggesting to change the default in the
Problems view to "Errors/ Warnings on Project" for which I provided a
fix.
Markus disagrees with that change, so we are looking for more people
to provide an opinon. Please comment on the Bug if you prefer to see
the problems based on the project selection or on the workspace.
