I would like to nominate Mickael Istria as Platform UI committer.
Mickael continues to contribute to the Eclipse platform UI project now for
an extended period of time. His focus
seems to be to make the Eclipse IDE more user friendly and to close gaps to
other IDEs. His upcoming contribution the smart project import wizard and
his enhancement of the project explorer for
hierarchical project display and his current implementation of the increase
text font size have shown that he can also solve complex problems.
Also his project lead role as SWTBot and his involvement in CBI, Tycho and
enablement of the platform UI tests qualifies him as committer.
I also hope that Mickael will be able to help with reviewing incoming
Gerrit reviews from others, in the past he expressed the desire that the
whole review feedback cycle should be faster.

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded. The voting will continue
until either all 26 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
