Re: [platform-ui-dev] [proposal] Unite platform text and UI projects forces

Hi Dani,

IMHO the whole whitespace discussion is a waste of time on all sides.
In Platform UI we solved that by removing the unnecessary whitespace
and setting the save action to remove any new whitespace. I have not
seen a Gerrit review since which had unnecessary whitespace in Java
code.

This should IMHO also be done for eclipse.platform.text to avoid a
loss of committer and contributor time. Every unnecessary step in the
contribution process is preventing us from doing something useful.

Best regards, Lars

P.S. while we have no more ws discussion in Gerrit we have now "wrong
intention" discussions due to a bug in the Java formatter.
