[platform-ui-dev] How can AERI support Eclipse Platform teams better?

Greetings,
I just read the Mars retrospective and stumbled over the error reporting item. While reading this I recognized that I’ve no real understanding of which components exist below platform, which teams work on which components etc. As a result AERI likely puts too many issues in the general „platform bucket“ which may render some reports less useful than for other projects.
If there is interest, I’d like to discuss and track your complaints, annoyances and feature requests and start improving AERI to support Platform better. I’ve created an umbrella bug 474514 to start a conversation in Bugzilla and track requests there. Let me know if there is something useful we could do here.
