[platform-ui-dev] Input on Gtk3 deprecation issue - menus with images/ic

Dear Eclipse community,

I am working on replacing a deprecated Gtk function 
(gtk_image_menu_item), however there is a slight difference in 
functionality between the solution and the older (now deprecated) function.

I have proposed some examples and a few options -- I would appreciate
