Do we have any contacts from either Jazz or Mylyn that may be interested in contributing their notifications system to Eclipse?

I'm referring specifically to this ancient proposal:

I'd like to revive it. Without some sort of notification system, there is no good way to display output to the user from asynchronous and background operations, and whatever notification system we use needs to be standardized that way notifications opened by different plugins won't open on top of one another.

Presumably both Jazz and Mylyn would have an interest in having their own notification system become the standard. Do we have contacts from both projects I could follow  up with?
