Thanks, sounds good to me.
Best regards, Lars

Hi Lars
My note didn't say whether we've added
(some of) your bugs or not. Actually we did add some of them to the top
50 list but Daniel first needs to regenerate the list - he only took notes
during the call. We didn't add any bugs related to tests since we moved
all test related bugs out of the top 50 list.

Would have been nice to have "our" bugs also
in the list, as the vogella company significantly invest in Eclipse platform
development.

Right, the list mainly covers our theme:
Bug
441512: Performance and stability of Platform
user interface
So, the bugs you sent us and are mostly already assigned to you are fine
to be fixed at any time.

+1 for the this approach.
I wasn't clear on the purpose of the list. It is definitely an area
we will work on, I wanted to avoid in 2 months: "No, we cannot discuss
that at the moment because it is not on the list".
For me the list is a guidance, but not a excluded rule.

Hi Lars
Last time we spoke about this, I think we've agreed on how to proceed.
If the work is completely done in a branch, along with some adoption that
shows it works, and improves things, the community can start to comment
on it, and if that is positive, we can start the review. I don't think
it needs to go onto the list.

One additional bug I would like to see on this list:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=402445
Bug 402445
- [Viewers] Add generics to the JFace Viewer framework
Reason: Every time, I discuss JFace Viewer with customers that is the first
feedback I get and we have an implementation for it.
Also we (vogella GmbH) plan to work on this (and we spend already a significant
amount of time on it while supporting two GSOC students).

Unfortunately I'm fully booked that afternoon and I definitely want to
participate. Can we move the call to this Thursday, November 6, 9 a.m.
EST?
