Re: [platform-ui-dev] Action Required: Inactive committer clean up for Platform UI

It does feel a bit weird to me to "retire" but it's the right thing to do.

Is the plan still to get back together eventually, in the "old developers home" that Steve used to talk about? :-)

Hi Paul,

I really wish I could continue contributing at Eclipse. However I have too many things competing for my attention these days, and something has to give.

I've decided to withdraw from the Platform UI project. I would be more than happy to assist and answer questions for anyone who wants to take up the reins on the data binding project.

I'd also like to take the opportunity to thank Boris Bokowski, Tom Schindl, Chris Aniszczyk, and Lars Vogel for their guidance and encouragement during my active years at Eclipse. You guys are awesome.

Hi,

Platform UI is working on our Mars planning, and we are taking the opportunity to "retire" committers who have been inactive for extended periods of time.

No committer who is active or interested in remaining active should lose commit access to any source code they currently have write access to.  If you wish to continue access to Platform UI, Runtime, and User Assistance, please comment on
