[platform-ui-dev] Fwd: [soc-dev] Google Summer of Code 2014
FYI - the Eclipse application deadline for Gsoc is tomorrow. Any good ideas and people willing to mentor? I plan to mentor 1-2 projects in Eclipse platform but it would be good if others could also help or coach

From the top of my head, I think the following would be a good student project:

1.) Improve CSS support in platform 
2.) Migration of certain views to Eclipse 4
3.) Finish / rework JFace Generics
4.) Performance work on Eclipse (measurement, fixes, getting the tests running again, etc.)

I guess their are much more good topics, but the deadline surprised me a bit.

the time of the year has come where you can post your ideas for projects for the GSoc 2014.

As per usual you´ll find here a ideas wiki page. The ideas page is the most important part of our application as a mentoring organization.

We have until Friday, the 13. to submit our application.

Im excited for this years Google Summer of code and am looking very much forward to it.
