+1, I'm always a big fan of removing old stuff to make it easier for new people to learn the platform.

I found some internal classes that are no longer used anywhere and look
like legacy code from times before e4. What should we do about them? Shall
we remove them?

org.eclipse.ui.internal.PartListenerList
org.eclipse.ui.internal.PartListenerList2

The same applies for unused model elements [1]. Is it something that we can
get rid of?
