-test failures discovered by Boris is being addressed (298850)
-concern was raised over the bugs we are receiving that are marked with a 4.0 version, this appears to have been brought up before (243417)

-e4: investigating part service (295003), model service for shared parts/perspectives (298887), selection service (295007)
-e4: finalizing model merge (295524), changed list merging from indices to before/after semantics
-e4: testing/stomping out bugs in the renderer
