Re: [platform-ui-dev] Change in the line wrapping limit ...

I've been asked if the proposal to change the line wrapping to 100
characters was meant to be a global change, to the default formatter
settings that the Eclipse IDE ships with.

The answer is no -- all we are talking about on platform-ui-dev is
what default formatter settings we'll be using for the code that the
Platform UI team owns. It would be up to the JDT team to change the
global defaults, and while I cannot speak for them, I would be
surprised if they were considering changing the default line length.
