Agree +1.   While it does increase the confusion over what should be in platform-ui and what should be in PDE.  However we're talking about an incubator and the "correct home" can be an output of that.  The important point is to have some place to refine the work.

I saw another tool recently, perhaps in a blog (can't recall), that showed in a table information on the selection service.  It got me thinking that it'd be nice to put a suite of these together as standard development utilities.  We tend to only think about doing "big" things, but these little utilities can give great bang for buck.

This would be a great addition to the org.eclipse.ui.tools feature  
that lives in the platform incubator.  +1 to that idea.
