[platform-ui-dev] Re: [pde-dev] Committer vote for Simon Archer has concluded unsuccessfully

I agree with Jeff that this is useful work and should have a home somewhere. Too bad Wassim did not retract his -1.  Should we start another committer nomination, this time for eclipse.incubator.platform?

Is the code already in the PDE incubator?

(For those who haven't seen the committer nomination, this is what Chris wrote:

I am nominating Simon Archer to get commit rights on the Picasso
(http://wiki.eclipse.org/PDE/Incubator/Picasso) work area within the PDE
incubator. A lot of the initial code came from Simon and he should have the
honor to maintain the code in the PDE incubator as it shapes up over time.

This automatically generated message marks the completion of the committer
vote for Simon Archer. Unfortunately, the vote did not gather enough +1s in
the voting period, thus the vote was not successful.
