I would like to nominate Tom Schindl <tom.schindl@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
as a
committer for the JFace subset of Platform/UI, currently consisting of
these two projects:

org.eclipse.jface
org.eclipse.jface.snippets

Over the last months, Tom invested an incredible amount of time in JFace,
and has made JFace viewers more flexible and easier to use.  His biggest
contributions were:
 - introducing the concept of columns (e.g. per-column label providers)
into the viewer framework
 - making it easier to set up trees and tables with editable cells
 - making the viewers independent of the concrete SWT widgets Table and
Tree, so that they can be used for custom trees and tables (e.g. the ones
from Nebula)
 - support for keyboard-driven cell editing (tabbing between cells, using
the arrow keys to navigate between cells)
 - roughly 30 snippets demonstrating how to use certain JFace features
