I noticed when I ran the PDE update classpath command this morning that it removed the stale project references from most of the UI plugins' .project files. I have released these changes to HEAD. Project references in .project files are an old concept that was replaced in 3.0 with dynamic classpaths. These entries are no longer used for any purpose, and in most cases for UI plugins were no longer correct due to changes in plugin dependencies.
