I'm pretty sure neither of us is going to change our minds on this 
subject, so I'm gonna quit with this one. ;-}

The Eclipse Roadmap and Architecture Plan have pretty slides for 
managers. It is possible, after about six clicks, to drill down to the 
Platform UI dev resources page (the Architecture Plan is just a detour) 
and, should one chance to click on the right link, get some meat. 
Personally, I probably never would have found it except for this thread.

Does it belong with the other articles? Probably not. But there should 
be some central location like the articles page devoted to Eclipse 
Architecture with a capital "A", with the implication that each project 
should have a contribution along the lines of

Maybe they can't all be that good, but it would be a worthy model.
