I found this hard to track down as well at the time.

Can anybody send me documentation regarding the new and improved Welcome View  and how to configure it for Eclipse 3.0.

Can you still add the actions to launch a dialog box?  We were doing this in 2.1.2 and I'd like to do it in 3.0 for our product.

I can't find anything on the site other than the old documentation.
