I actually should have mentioned this
on the mailing list for all self-hosters.  A change was released in
org.eclipse.ui.ide that depends on the contents of HEAD for org.eclipse.core.resources.
 You will need to load core.resources from HEAD if you want to compile
and run the latest changes in org.eclipse.ui.ide.  The core changes
will appear in the next integration build (and nightly builds starting
from yesterday).
