We published some minor clarifications and corrections to the design
document and to the example plugin.xml as well as to the example provided
in the org.eclipse.ui.views.navigator.navigatorContent extension point
schema.
If you haven't read the doc yet, now would be a good time.

An updated version of the General Purpose Navigator framework has been
posted on the Platform > UI Team > Proposals page.

The design document outlines the current design of the framework,
discusses issues, and provides an overview of the example plugin code.
