[platform-ui-dev] Exposing structured editor framework

I am building a structured editor, and would like it to have a similar
look&feel to the Manifest Editor and the like.  I wandered if there is any
formal API's for reusing and extending the editor framework found in
org.eclipse.update.ui.forms.internal.*, org.eclipse.pde.internal.ui.*  and
related packages, which is used by ManifestEditor.

If there is no API, is there any plan for exposing this internal framework
in the future?
