[platform-ui-dev] Contributing to Eclipse Examples

Hi All,

I was wondering if i could contribute to the eclipse examples plugin. I have created an XHTML editor plugin. It has content assistance, vertcal ruler, horizontal ruler, syntax coloring,a preference page, outline view.[The aim was more to study the features provided by eclipse rather than create an XHTML editor!]

The Java Editor example and XML Editor example is too simple. It throws light on a few features only.On the other hand referring JDT code directly is too deep.It takes a lot of time for a newbie to go through it.

I was thinking of a single plugin that could convey the major features of eclipe editor, preference pages, outline views etc in a simple manner.I plan to add more features to this plugin.[I myself drew heavily from JDT and other plugins, it took quite an effort,an effort that need not be made by every newbie,i thought i had share this code!].

I am attaching the zip file. It contains the plugin,
a full feature list, and a snapshot of the XHTML editor in action. Its developed in 2.0.2.

I am looking for people from eclipse to move this idea forward and also for more suggestions.

Regards,
Zenil
