RE: [platform-ui-dev] Background color problem when porting plugi n to RC2.
|
Title: Message
So far
I have made only two lines of modifications. No need for review. I'm still
looking into customer feedbacks. Depending on the feedback there may be more
modifications to explain something more. I guess you will be here till 4:30PM,
right?
Thanks
Surya
I've
created the bug #35012 in which I've attached a plugin to illustrate the
problem.
Definitely I should have given more details... sorry.
I am talking about a toolbar I've created and that I've set the
background to white mimicking the "flat look&fell" (manifest
editor's flavor).

Background color problem when porting plugin to RC2.
Luiz,
This behaviour is
unchanged between 2.0 and 2.1. We have always used the default
background colour here. I just ran 2.0.2 and I get gray on the
ViewForms used for eclipse views.
Can you give us an example that works differently in 2.0 and 2.1?
If it's on a toolbar that you are
creating yourself, you can explicitly set the background colour using
Control.setBackground(Color).
You
should not change the background colour of toolbars created by the
workbench.

Nick

Background color problem when porting plugin to RC2.

Hi,
Without changing any image or line of code, the plugins
I have working on
2.02 are presenting a problem regarding the
background color of elements in
the tool bar of different
org.eclipse.swt.custom.ViewForm objects. In the
previous version,
the background of the org.eclipse.swt.widgets.ToolItem
widgets was
white but now it is gray.
Would someone have any tips or directions
I can use to make the background
white again? Was there any
change on the way the ToolItem or the ViewForm
is
painted?
TIA.
