This automatically generated message signals that Dani Megert has nominated
Benno Baumgartner as a Committer on the  component of the eclipse.platform
project. The reason given is as follows:

IMPORTANT NOTE: The 'Text' component does not have its own ACL, it is part
of 'UI' but the commit rights are only requested for Platform Text and
hence this ballot is also only targeted against Platform Text committers.


Benno Baumgartner, a long time JDT UI committer, has been actively working
with me on Platform Text and JDT Text since last December. During that time
he implemented the new Java editor breadcrumb, the rich problem hover and
improved the Javadoc view. besides that he fixed many bugs. Also, during
3.3 he implemented the 'clean up on save' action for the Java editor. His
contributions are solid and of high quality.

I ask the committers of the Platform Text component for their vote to grant
Benno Baumgartner commit rights for the Platform Text component.

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the

given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
