Not sure if you mean "use" as in coded with, or "use" as in tried the
feature, but if either or the latter, I'd chime in with a "I love the
synchronized approach." My favorite sftp plugin (haven't tried the one
mentioned a couple of posts back) was the klomp one, which took the sync
approach.
I've banged around with modifying it, and modifying the ftp or webdav
plugins, to get the same sftp-sync functionality in Eclipse >3.0, but
I'm a weekend coder noob type and haven't had much luck.

But here is one super strong vote for using the sync framework, I really
love it. Don't know how it would work with EFS, as I haven't looked at
EFS, and unless EFS caches a copy locally or some such, it probably
wouldn't be much help, at least not if you were "always on" so to speak.

Although it would be cool for EFS to be more of a repo than a FS, if you
ask me, but I'm obviously slanted toward a "sometimes connected" /
"concurrent users" idea vs. "let me edit the file directly where it's
at", to use more worser grammar.

Er... yeah. Sorry for not being more on the ball with this EFS stuff, I
should be, considering, but alas... I know next to nothing. Maybe
nothing, if EFS doesn't stand for Extended File System. ;-)

I love Eclipse's sync features, I guess, would have done the job. Eh.

Sync + 1
