I am assuming by 'Mainframe' you mean S/390. Due to the nature of the file system on S/390, there are *many* issues to consider. The product, WebSphere Developer for zOS, built on Eclipse 3, handles the transfer of files between the systems but does not employ ftp directly.

Hi,
I was trying to use the FTP/WebDAV plugin to import files from a Mainframe server. It failed, as the command "List -a" is not supported on mainframes.
I was told that someone has already ran into the same problem, and has already submitted a patch for this.
Just wondering when the mainframe support will be in the org.eclipse.team.ftp plugin?
