Re: [platform-swt-dev] Massive Problems on several Linuxes

Thomas,

Please note, that "supported" GTK3 version for 4.10 SWT is GTK3 >= 3.14, ideally => 3.22. All below are deemed to be broken in some way, independently on OS.

Please also provide information which exact SWT build was used before and now. I'm not sure to which tag "4.922" should match in SWT git, we have for example v4922r1 ... v4922r22 etc.

In general, SWT is tested and supposed to work on Adwaita GTK3 theme (default Gnome theme), and informally on Clearlooks-Phenix GTK 3 theme (because we use it and test it in our lab at Advantest).

All other GTK3 themes *could* work, but due the extreme GTK3 CSS volatility the non default GTK3 themes (==all except Adwaita) tend to be broken in some areas with almost every (even minor) GTK3 release.

So after reading all this, please report separated bugs into bugzilla.

Kind regards,
Andrey Loskutov
