I do something similar with a script:

Btw thank you for the line above, it allows me to compile swt's custom code with debug support :-D (-g3). I've been researching how to do this for a while.
I integrated it into the script above.
Now I can debug/step through the Gtk/C part of swt Custom inside Eclipse, which is handy for debugging the native calls. 
Later I'll add description to guide about debbugging the Gtk/C part of SWT.
