Hi Greg,

Yes this is still the case.  On
some platforms it may somewhat work depending on what you're doing, but
in general this functionality cannot be relied on and behaves inconsistently
across the platforms.

What is the status of SWT.TRANSPARENT? The Javadoc says "3.4 WARNING:
THIS API IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND SHOULD NOT BE USED":
