I looked at that forum very quickly,
and there is a post about install problems with VE: http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=45130&#msg_146139

search to see if of theses VE bugs sound similar:

Other than that, I can't help you. This is the SWT developer list, and we do not develop or use VE.

Dear All,

I am using the following version of eclipse

Eclipse SDK

Version: 3.4.1
Build id: M20080911-1700


And installing VE 1.4. for this I have downloaded the VE-Update-1.4.0
and unzipped that in E:\eclipse-rcp-ganymede-SR1-win32\eclipse\dropins
folder

In order to install the VE i followed the steps as
Start eclipse, then start the Install Manager.
Help > Install New Software... > Add... > Archive...
 Browse for the zip you downloaded.
 When the site loads, select the feature(s) you want to install, then hit Next

But during the install i get the following error

An error occurred during provisioning.
 Error reading signed content.
 The file "E:\eclipse-rcp-ganymede-SR1-win32\eclipse\dropins\plugins\org.eclipse.jem_2.0.300.R3_1_maintenance.jar"
does not exist



How can i solve this problem
