Yes, it did!

It seems the deployment scripts of the application have a weird
behavior on that particular machine or that the RCP install was
tampered with (like injecting a different SWT plugin with incompatible
arch). In any case your hint was very valuable.

On a related note, I have been asking for more tools to solve
SWT-related deployment issues, like SWT port introspection (see
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=292062 ). This could
help us developers a lot by providing dynamic ways to install the
right plugins as well as getting static info on a port that fails to
load. Among other thing, it would save me and my users a lot of time
:)
