Re: [platform-swt-dev] OSX SWT Compatibility

Much thanks Carolyn.  Very concise. BTW, I noticed a cut-n-paste error.  The link is repeated just above the question.

I added an SWT FAQ: http://www.eclipse.org/swt/faq.php#osxvms
Hope this helps,

Eclipse Platform SWT component developers list.

Please respond to "Eclipse Platform SWT component developers list."

Thanks for your replies.  I have a Mac Mini x86 for testing apps with
Tiger and Java5. I think your response clears up my concerns.  I do
believe this info should go to the SWT Faq to minimize future question
churn. So to recap:

Tiger x86 - SWT Carbon only, no SWT Cocoa ;(
Tiger x86_64 - I do not believe this exists.  Can someone verify?
Leopard+ x86 - SWT Cocoa x86 or SWT Carbon
Leopard+ x86_64 - SWT Cocoa x64 preferred, x86 if running 32 bit JVM
or SWT Carbon if 1.5 is available.

Is this correct?
