I'd try the Mylyn list (if you have not already).

[platform-swt-dev] Mylyn and multiple change sets affecting the        same file

Hi,

I’m hoping I’m missing something obvious and this is an easy question; if not I’ll go to a mylyn list and ask it there.

I’m trying to use Mylyn partially to test it, but also to improve my productivity. I’m confused about something, though. Let’s say I’m working on two bugs at the same time. Work on both bugs touches a common file but in different places. I can’t figure out how to associate a particular change within the file with a task. Is Mylyn fine-grained enough to do that?

If not I don’t see how useful it would be for me, since I often have multiple changes that I’m either living on or are in-progress for a particular bug. Is anyone else using Mylyn with this kind of a workflow?
