Sorry to hear about this. I had plans for exploring this API, and this is why i wanted to have a look at the preliminary drafts. I would be more than glad to see this on the table for the final 3.5 release.

The API is in the "time permitting" category and it is
not clear that we will be able to get to it for this release.
