Like many before me, i have become frustrated and disappointed with the way the bugs are handled on Sun's BugParade. The process is extremely opaque, and those reports that "manage" to get to the publicly available frontend are most likely to stagnate for years without any resolution.

Thanks for the pointer. This regression would indicate that Eclipse (on Vista) is not part of the RC / GA / FCS testing. If that is true, it is highly disappointing.

There's a bug for it.  I'm hoping that Sun will undo the changes to the JVM that caused it.

Hi,

Can anyone confirm that SWT on Vista (and Eclipse 3.4 in particular) are not using Vista control styles when running under RC 2 of Java 6u10 [1]? I see old-style progress bars, borders, tree handles and more. If i run the same exact Eclipse under Java 5.0_15 i see the correct styles being used. Perhaps [2] holds the indication on why is this happening?
