Hi, sorry for the late response,

I've never heard of this before so I
don't have a workaround to suggest.  Please log a report with SWT
at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Platform&component=SWT
and provide some examples of filenames that are giving you problems.

Hallo,
 
I run into a problem with swt's
file dialog: when i select many files with long filenames, the dialog returns
an empty string and doesn't open a file. I didn't found an entry in the
bug tracker, so is there a way to solve this?
