I just thought that I should make the fact that both my XBMFileFormat &
the existing GIFFileFormat give the same problem when saving to a gif
file. These files are based on the 3.1.1 version of SWT, I believe the
3.2 version will be different.

I attach the files for reference 
harp.xbm is the original file.
harp.gif is the gimp conversion
harp_xbm.gif is the xbm->gif conversion and
harp_gig.gif is the gif->gif conversion
