I think that the importance of the snippets page http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/~checkout~/platform-swt-home/dev.html#snippets (especially for beginners) is not represented by its position on the eclipse website. It's in my mind to complicated to find it. I have a few suggestions to this: * give it a more prominent position on the website * switch to something like this? http://codesnippets.services.openoffice.org/Writer/Writer.ChangeDocumentBackgroundColor.snip Things I want to add in the near future: * adding a search engine like Plucene * release the whole as a standalone application (AxKit/Perl-Based to CPAN) If you think that it is worth the effort I'd volunteer to get things working like this.
