a workaround:
Dispose and re-create the coolitems. That is what eclipse does when you
switch perspectives.
You can keep the control inside the coolitem during the process (you don't
need to dipose it along with the item).

Hi,
Coolitems do not have the ability to change their visibiltiy. Is there a
reason
for this? I think the Coolbar should have the ability to hide/show their
coolitems.
Does anyone know of a workaround to achieve this?
