2) Compiling from DOS command prompt of Windows 2000

3) Executing from DOS command

C:\j2sdk1.4.2_04\work>java -classpath swt.jar WindowSample1
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: WindowSample1

C:\j2sdk1.4.2_04\work>java WindowSample1
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/eclipse/swt/widge

4) Source code of a sample program using swt

Ryoji,
In the future, please use the newsgroups for these kinds of questions. That said, it appears you just need to put the current directory on your classpath as well, such as: 

-classpath .;swt.jar
You will also need to specify the current directory for the java.library.path so the SWT dll will be located.
