I am not the original poster, but I actually wanted to contribute to that, 
but first I didn't find that they were that many instances of bogus code 
to start with (come on it's not that slow :), and second it's not that 
easy to find the steps to follow to start contributing. (What sources are 
where etc.)

But it's just a matter of investing the time I guess, I hope to
eventually make it to there.

Alternatively does anyone knows what happened to the qt port study ?
