How can we find out if the client's system is using inches or centimeters as the preferred unit of length. I can't seem to find anything in the java platform itself which indicates this. If it is in fact missing, can it be added to Display?

One workaround might be to create a Printer object, and try looking at the paper size (Letter vs. A3/A4)
