[platform-swt-dev] 32 bit icon and bitmap support?

Are there any plans to add support for the proper rendering of 32 bit
bitmaps(24 bit image, 8 bit alpha)?  From what I can tell the gc doesn't
think the image has any transparency data and draws it opaque.  Also 32 bit
icons won't even load, swt currently bails out if it isn't 256 colors or
less.
