Thomas, To get answers to legal questions, you'll really need to find a
lawyer to advise you on what exactly you can and cannot do with Eclipse.
I'm afraid you're unlikely to find any lawyers on this (or any other)
developer mailing list.

Point your lawyer at the Eclipse legal info home page:
http://eclipse.org/legal/main.html

Hello,

I've noticed that the SWT is provided under the CPL. But I have some
problems in understanding the
exact meaning of some points in the license conditions.

I'm planning to develop a commercial product which uses the SWT for
building the GUI. Do I have to
lay open the source code of my whole program for the consumer? Does the
consumer has the right to
sell or reproduce the application?
I neither want to change/extend SWT nor do I want to add something to SWT.
I only want to use the
unchanged SWT for building the GUI of my software.

I hope someone of you can help me.

I'm sorry if this is the wrong mailing list for this question but I don't
know where else to post it.

best regards

Tom
