If you could tell us what you expect
to have in a table that "looks acceptable", we could probably
tell you more. Note, on some platforms the appearance you see *is* the
native appearance.

I've looked at the few examples and the apidoc for inspiration to make
this
Table control look a bit better, because it's really unfortunate that in
the
examples it truly looks like shit.

I would really feel uncomfortable to deliver an application that uses this
Table, if there's no way to improve its looks. It only gets worse when
you
use the TableCursor and TableEditor control to do something useful with
the
Table control.

Does anybody know of one example in which this Table control has been made
to look acceptable?
