Is there a higher order document such as the API Docs allowing me to get a gestalt of your contribution?
Hi Lane,

You can find what exists so far here:

http://dev.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=30022

and here:

http://eclipsewiki.swiki.net/248

I've read the documents and added my $.02 to the wiki page. I hope you do not find my comments as setting too high a bar on the design of a SWT Builder :).

Rather, use my comments as a reality check to help you start to size the scope of the project. Also, if you have not already done so, I stronly urge you to take Conga for an immediate spin, a product for which there were 30,000 licensees. This will give you some fabulous insight into what a Builder can do and, for sure, what more it could do. Most of Conga was written by Arthur Van Hoff. He is the brightest programmer I have ever known by several orders of magnitude.

Kindest regards,

Lane

Best,

Dave Orme
