The appropriate place for this sort of questions is the Eclipse Tools newsgroup, or Bugzilla.  This mailing list is for discussions among SWT implementors.

Also, when you ask about certain weird/incorrect behavior of widgets, please do indicate which platform you are running on.  Talking about the behavior of a Table "in general" is meaningless.

        When Table widget with multiple columns is updated frequently (several
        times  per  second)  flashing  is  clearly  seen. I tried to eliminate
        flashing by setting NO_BACKGROUND flag in widget's constructor (both -
        Table and TableItem) but it does not work. Help, please!
