Title: Why tree popup menu works over the white space?

I have an item selected on a tree (Navigator). When I right click on the white space of the tree control and I get the popup menu for the selected item.

This is not how it work in trees in other control sets: Menu there never popup on the bottom while space. If the white space on the right side it goes to the item that is horizontally on the left.
