[platform-swt-dev] Icon for Eclipse Mac OS X Port

I asked someone I have seen on Mac mailing lists that designs icons to come up with something original for the Eclipse project that is more "Mac-like" and better adheres to the Apple recommendations for application icons.  I gave him some basic ideas and pointed him to the Eclipse logos, but told him initially it might be best if he just approached it "fresh" and came up with his own ideas.

I have a copy of the icon, and can email it to anyone that wants it.  It is about 450 kB so I didn't want to post it to the list.

I gave him some other ideas, if you have any feel free to send them to me and I will pass them along.  As you can see from his portfolio, he is very talented.  If we can come up with some specific ideas, he can probably create it.

To Andre and the OTI folks, are there any rules or guidelines in this area that would have to be followed to have a chance of an icon becoming the "official" icon for thr port?  For example, does it have to somehow include the Eclipse "logo"?  Do you have your own people working on this already, and others should not bother?  I do not want him to be wasting his time if something like this just isn't wanted.
