I have modified the existing search code for the List mode for this  (bug 332502) .
I am attaching the changed files.
I will be great if someone can review it.

How about providing a option to hide the folders in the Tree mode. (Probably a preference option)

I meant the Search File option.
And yes the  'Show as List' option is there but it hides the individual results.
What is was looking for is in the "Show as Tree" but without the folders/sub-folders.
I have attached the example picture for the same.

Hi,

Is there are possibility to hide the folders from the search result ?
My problem is that my project has lots of folders and sub-folders .
And due to which in the search result i have to keep expanding the folders and sub folder
It's really annoying.
